Visit to Athboy Community School

5th and 6th class were very lucky on Friday the 13th and were invitied to visit Athboy Community School. They had a great day trying out some secondary school subjects and looking around the school. They were divided into three groups and got to try woodwork, engineering and art. The boys and girls got to make wooden Ts in woodwork practising their sawing skills, plastic photoframes in engineering and they designed their own bookmarks in art. Thank you to Athboy Community School for inviting us over and allowing the 5th and 6th a taster of what secondary school is like!
